Sure, you can buy software today for whatever automation you think you need or want, but the key is in having a person who understands the intended goals and outcomes. It is so important to have someone on your side who understands your business, and what needs to happen for the business, in addition to understanding the technology.

We’ve seen some amazing results when a consultant or business owner can articulate the goals and desired outcomes in a way that the technologist can translate into the chosen software terminology.

It takes a team to make this happen!

Keep in mind that once the technology is implemented, you need someone to manage it, ensure that it works all the time, and knows how to modify it when necessary.

As you see or encounter a push for digitization — whether its outright automation, for your website, operations, or anything else, it’s important to remember that the people involved are what make it go really well — or really bad.
