Ms. Maria Knyazeva, CEO and English teacher
Ms. Knyazeva is a Co-Owner of English School Number One, a private language center that provides services to families with children seeking foreign language acquisition skills. Ms. Knyazeva’s main responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, social media and marketing and client relations.
As a young entrepreneur, Ms. Knyazeva is interested in small business management particularly in learning how companies with small managerial staff successfully set and achieve goals. She is also interested in learning best practices in integrating digital apps into business.
Mr. Hein Paing Htoo Chit, Founder Cum Executive Director, SEED for Myanmar
SEED for Myanmar is a nonprofit organization that provides entrepreneurship education and financial management training for youth in the community. As Executive Director, Mr. Chit leads a team in running events, classes, and workshops for students to provide the next generation with necessary skills to drive the economic development of Myanmar.
While in the U.S., Mr. Chit is interested in seeing how similar organizations empower youth through entrepreneurship education. He also hopes to learn more about the social innovation system in the U.S. to more successfully manage his own social enterprise.
Mr. Oleg Chaykin Senior Business Development Strategist, Golden Crown Money Transfers (CFT Group)
Mr. Chaykin works for a private money transfer company where he develops strategies for business expansion and establishes foreign partnerships. He also conducts market research, examines policies of business counterparts, ensures compliance with international regulations, and carries out due diligence of foreign legal entities. Mr. Chaykin is also responsible for negotiating agreements with financial partners worldwide.
While in the U.S., Mr. Chaykin would like to learn about investments in the U.S., particularly what the American investment cycle looks like in practice; how new opportunities are evaluated; how venture funds communicate with investors and companies; and how venture funds operate. He is also interested in investments in the international sphere; for example, impact investments in developing countries.
Jorge Martinez Lubiano, Headcoach at SpeakerCoach
Jorge Martinez Lubiano is HeadCoach at SpeakerCoach, a training and consulting corporation that develop Leadership and Communication programs for multinational firms such as Walmart, Bayer, LOreal, Santander and Ford, among others. Jorge was recipient of the Young Leaders of the Americas award founded by President Barack Obama and the US Departament of State, 100 top young leaders in Chile by El Mercurio and given a full scholarship to study at Georgetown’s Global Leadership Program. Jorge is a former Economist leading several non profit initiatives, trained as a Coach at The University of Cambridge
Juan Camilo Montoya, Master in sustainable architecture
Sustainability specialized architect, innovation consultant and entrepreneur by vocation focused on the social area of Sustainable development.
As the Ceo of The We Projec NGO ,During the last 4 years he has dedicated his work in development of innovation, entrepreneurship and social architecture projects in communities in inequity situations that promotes environmental, social and economic development of communities, urban and rural environments at different scales.
He is an associate consultant for the Creativivade Factory, Brazil and mentor and consultant for Fundación Bancolombia, Reconciliation Colombia, USAID, American Colombo and Uniandinos and associate teacher and lecturer for Universidad de Aruba, Universidad del Rosaio y La Sabana in Colombia among others.
