Redefine Yourself
We’ve all had to redefine the way we work, shop, and live over this pandemic year.
While for some the pandemic has had a negative impact in many ways, for many of us has provided an opportunity to revisit what we have been doing or what we could be doing based on what’s happening.
We work with entrepreneurs around the globe on a daily basis, and have seen that they continue to be resilient in terms of redefining what they offer to their communities. We’ve also learned that dealing with the pandemic can be an opportunity to redefine “YOU” and what you want to do.
Take the time to reflect on where you are today and where you want to be in a year or two or ten, and the resources you have to leverage.
While we know that some entrepreneurs have changed their products completely as a result of the pandemic, others have closed down completely. We encourage you to consider — before you jump ship— what you want to do if you can.
Entrepreneurship may be a necessity — meaning that there is nothing else you can do — but that just because it is the only choice on one level, how you define it and what you want to go after is a completely different choice.
As you redefine your business or yourself or what you want to do, redefine what resources you may need. This is an opportunity to redefine what you need! Maybe you don’t need a full production video company to create your blog. Maybe you do need it now. Maybe you always used a writer and now you have the opportunity to write yourself. Whatever scenario you have, just take this opportunity to redefine what you want, and what you need to get there. Do it now, because all of these things will most likely be changing over the next 18 months.
BEFORE YOU GO
We see our blogs as opportunities for dialogue. Please share your thoughts as comments.
How can you redefine what you want, where you want to go, and what you need to get there?
What other tools have you used to redefine critical moments your life?
What else do you do to react to what happens around you?
