The Power of Showing Up

We have all heard the saying, 90% of Success is Showing Up. It might be challenging, although now there are even more ways to show up than ever before.

Yes, we will never be able to replace the interaction that happened between us before COVID-19. At the same time, there are lots of ways to keep yourself engaged and fresh in the minds of your customers and communities.

We have seen many entrepreneurs right now being very creative in reaching out to their communities. They’re not necessarily knocking on the doors, saying, “Buy now, buy now!” although you could do that.

What we’ve learned from other leaders and entrepreneurs is that providing information that is relevant to the customers or communities you serve is useful, and that you are providing it makes it more powerful than for them to simply “buy” from you.

We can’t also discount that you should be doing, “buy now, buy now!” but you might want to think about what you can do with information you may have. What can the information you have provide to the networks to which you have access? What knowledge can you share that compliments your work, supporting your customers or partnering up with another organization to deliver your product or service?

It could be a new way for you to show up.

It could be a new way for you to stay connected.

It could be a new way for you to stay relevant to your customers and prospects.

BEFORE YOU GO

We see our blogs as opportunities for dialogue. Please share your thoughts as comments.

As we move forward, some of the things you might want to think about are:

  1. What have you been able to share with your communities to keep them engaged?

  2. What have you done to show up so people will see and remember you?

  3. What other tools have you used to stay connected to your customers and communities?
