Attitude is Everything

Throughout my journey, winning some and losing some, I’ve learned that attitude plays a key part in how you keep moving forward. I love to explore how our attitude can also change our latitude, as well as our work.

Most of us understand that our thoughts become ideas, ideas become our words, words become our actions. If you choose to think about your attitude, you can keep your thoughts and ideas positive, and make an impact.

This doesn’t mean that you are always winning. It doesn’t mean that you won’t have a bad moment, day, or year. The question is really about how you hold your attitude within the framework of that moment or experience.

Through the work we have done — particularly in war zones — I’ve learned that attitude can make an impact on the results. Your surroundings can change, make, or break your attitude.

As we’ve discussed before, it is never what happens to you — it’s always about how you react. Latitude is the same.

It’s easy to have a bad attitude nothing around you is prospering because it has been bombed or destroyed because of war. Meanwhile, at the same time, you could surround yourself with thoughts of what could be.

As you go through times of transition, think about those who surround you. Look at the attitude, whether positive or negative.

Remember that other people have bad moments or days, and hold bad memories of what has happened. Don’t discount the devastation of someone suffering with such actions. Think about what you — or we — can do to create a new beginning.

BEFORE YOU GO

We see our blogs as opportunities for dialogue. Please share your thoughts as comments.

  1. What attitude will you carry with you going forward?

  2. What is the general attitude of those around you?

  3. What is the difference between a good and bad attitude from your point of view?
