Executive Global Trade Mission at Washtenaw Community College

 We are excited to announce our Executive Global Trade Mission, in partnership with the Small Business Development Community of Michigan (SBDC) and Washtenaw Community College.

This program is for business owners and start-ups operating for at least two years within the United States that have products they are interested exporting into foreign markets. Our program will provide you with the tools, resources, ans knowledge required to launch your product abroad. Program workshop sessions are once a week for three weeks. The subject and topic of each workshop will be specific, but the program is structured so that each participant learns and understands if and how they can take their product globally. 

Participants coming out of this program will know how to:

-Define your product, market, and competition in the new region and country you seek to export

-Develop an executive export plan to do business internationally

-Work through your global business finances

-Define your export needs

Schedule:

Classes are held at partner orgnizations of ISM

Two Info sessions will be held prior to the program

Class sessions will be held every Wednesday

(Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4, Week 5) from 6pm - 9pm

Week 1: Marketing and sales for your business

Week 2: Exporting finances and costs

Week 3: Business logistics

Week 4: Planning your export in entry country

Week 5: Presenting and pitching your business
