Kristen Sheppard,

Digital Marketing Manager

Kristen is earned her Master’s of Science in Information at the University of Michigan with focuses in Human-Computer Interaction and Entrepreneurship. She has entrepreneurship experience working on her own venture and previously worked at Google where she consulted a wide variety of industries on their AdWords and digital marketing strategies. She currently works as a developer and technology evangelist for an online brokerage firm. 

Yaqian Tan,

Marketing Analysis

Yaqian Tan is a graduate student of University of Michigan Dearborn with a major in Business Analytics. She is now serving as the Vice President of Supply Chain Association at the University of Michigan Dearborn. She had three years’ experience of English teaching at New Oriental Education & Technology Group, Inc in China and was promoted to a teaching supervisor. Ms. Tan enjoyed working at a multiple cultural environment and her most recent job was working as an assistant of Supply Chain Director at SAIC-General Motor Corporation Limited where she developed strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Sagor Bhuiyan,

Web Designer & Developer

Sagor Bhuiyan is a student at Wayne State University pursing Biology. He has been involved with medical device, mobile app, as well as a few web startups. He has been a venture consultant for over 4 years at Blackstone LaunchPad and is also a graphic/web designer and web developer.

Robert Brown,

Web Analyst

Robert Brown is a student at Oakland Community College, and member of the MAT2program for information technology. He studies hard to keep pace with the advanced schedule and looks to apply his skills immediately in a work environment. He was selected from a large pool of students to undergo a rigorous and specialized IT program designed to train students in information technology in the shortest but most effective amount of time.

Debi Acker-Zolnoski,

Community Outreach Manager

Debi Acker-Zolnoski is an experienced Community Relations professional, published author, and a sixth-generation  Detroiter. Debi holds degrees in Community Development,  Public Administration, and Business Management. She was the first female to receive a municipal board appointment, contributing over fourteen years of guidance and planning as treasurer of the EDC, Planning Commissioner and Zoning Board Member for the Township of Macomb, Michigan.

Beth Nuccio,

Talent Development Specialist

With 25+ years of experience in the field of non-profit higher education and 18 years of elected public service, Beth has built a strong repertoire of skills and is driven to involve, innovate and improve culture. Beth is skilled at presenting vision for growth, engaged and driven with a solid focus on results. She is proficient at establishing consultative relationships, collaborative programs and has expertise in preparing students for the world-of-work through quality career advising and programming and assisting employers with their hiring needs.

Alex Rexer,

International Business Analyst

Alex Rexer is a recent graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in History.  Formerly a volunteer assistant coach for a high school rugby team, and currently volunteers at the International Visitors Council of Detroit.

Iyinoluwa Omishope,

Business Idea Coach Assistant

Iyinoluwa Omishope is currently an Industrial and Systems Engineering student at Wayne State University with a concentration in Systems Optimization. She completed an entrepreneurship through the DTX launch program at TechTown where she served as the project manager for her team and won the program’s MVP award. She is currently working on Millennial Marketing Strategies as a research assistant at Wayne State University. 

Soheeb Wains,

Database Scientist

Soheeb Wains is from Canton, Michigan and will graduate with a B.A. in Honors Biology from Wayne State University. Over the summer he completed the DTX Launch program, an intense 10-week accelerator. He has also helped launched ToDoolie, a Detroit-based start-up where he previously served as Chief Operating Officer, alongside close personal friends. He decided to join MyISMInc of because of his previous experiences in entrepreneurship. In his spare time, he likes to lift weights, eat food, and explore life. 

Jasmine Rostkowski

Jasmine has been working in the digital marketing space for over seven years working at digital agencies and freelancing. She specializes in data and analytics especially when it comes to the consumer journey on a website. She has a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and has been part of several business accelerator programs. She does a mix of web development, SEO, paid search, and overall website consulting.

Anabela Dokic

Anabela Dokic is currently a junior at The University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She’s earning a Bachelors of Business Administration, concentrated in Finance, as well as a Minor In Sustainability. She’s extremely interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of finance and sustainability, focused on positive, social impact and corporate social responsibility. On campus, she’s the Vice President of Finance for my sorority, an active member of a professional business fraternity, and a member of the Impact Dance Team. Previously, she interned at an NGO focused on post-war reconciliation efforts and peace-building in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where my family is from. This was an amazing experience as she got to give back to a group of people that means so much to her - which is what got her so invested into positive, social impact and CSR. This summer, she’s interning at ISM and working on a variety of projects, such as an excel model which maps the national entrepreneurial ecosystem and programming an online course for entrepreneurs during the current COVID-19 pandemic. She’s really enjoyed her time at ISM and is looking forward to what is to come in the future!

Morgan Stephens

Morgan Stephens is currently a senior at Central Michigan University where she will receive her Bachelors of Applied Arts in Communication in the Spring of 2021. Over the course of the Summer, Morgan worked as the Administrative Assistant Intern for ISM. In this position, she handled multiple projects such as editing and publishing electronic books containing information for aspiring entrepreneurs, managing correspondence, and creating study materials for the Kauffman FastTrac Program June cohort. In the future, Morgan hopes to work in the communication department of a major company.

Alex MacGillivary

Alex MacGillivary recently earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business Management from Grand Valley State University. She has gained international experience through studying abroad in Northern Ireland where she was able to work directly with organizations to promote communication and conflict resolution. Alex is an advocate for technology and using social media to motivate change.

KRISTEN JOHNSTONE

Kristen is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a major in Marketing at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She has created several websites, and, as the Social Media Coordinator for the American Advertising Federation, she makes weekly Facebook posts on meetings and events.  Kristen embodies the spirit of volunteerism and is a Committee Co-Chair of an organization that supports the children of Haiti.

Shady Abozaied,

Operation Manager

A passionate supply chain and operation management professional  with a demonstrated history of working in the  management industry. Shady is passionate about Supply Chain Management and Logistics , Entrepreneurship, Gender Equity and International Development. Shady is an alumni of USAID at Wayne state university and Erasmus scholarship at University of Valladolid. Shady is a Certified Trainer in TOT from British foundation and 720 Hours of professional soft skills From The American university in Cairo , which lead to Strong communication and administrative professional with a bachelor focused in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt.

Oreoluwa Obiri

Oreoluwa Obiri is an Intern with ISM. Oreoluwa graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in June 2019 and is now pursuing a Masters in Data, Culture, and Society at the University of Westminster. She is excited to be working on data collection and analysis in her two previous roles as a member of the National Health Corps and an Intern with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
